The Return of the Redesigned Chevy Trax

Back-seat passengers are treated to ample legroom – approximately three inches more than the previous Trax. The cargo hold has increased seven cubic feet, from 19 to 26. All told, the 2024 Trax towers over its 2022 counterpart by a staggering 5.7 inches between the axles and 11 inches in total length. 

The thoughtfully remodeled interior provides luxurious accents while maximizing space, from the sensibly placed infotainment screen to the sunroof that is available with certain trims.

An Array of Features 

The Trax is front-wheel driven and powered by a 137-hp turbocharged three-cylinder engine and six-speed automatic transmission. Once outfitted with a set of snow tires, the Trax can still traverse effortlessly through the winter weather, despite the lack of four-wheel drive.

Chevy’s new crossover comes installed with more standard features than ever before. The 2024 Trax is a fully wireless vehicle and includes Wireless Phone Integration. The myChevrolet mobile app remote technology comes standard, and there are two USB ports in the back seating area. 

Additionally, the included Chevy Safety Assist suite includes the following safety features: 

– Forward Collision Alert & Automatic Braking 
– Front Pedestrian Braking 
– Lane Keep Assist
– Following Distance Indicator 
– Intellibeam® High Beam Assist 

The Price is Righteous 

Despite its audacious overhaul, one of the cornerstones of the Trax remains unchanged: its enviable price tag. All five trims of the 2024 Trax come with a starting price under $25,000.
